Since my last letter I have received an enormous amount of support and encouragement. I have also received several questions regarding the support of our old JNS products and the relationship with Topcon. I will try to explain the situation more clearly in this letter.

In July 2000 Javad Positioning System's market was effectively divided into Topcon Positioning Systems (for Precision Markets) and Javad Navigation Systems (for All Other Markets). This relationship along with all other restrictions and obligations ended on May 15, 2007 when Topcon purchased some assets and rights of JNS. At that time JNS maintained the right to sell the old products to its existing customers until January 1, 2008 when the new and independent products of JAVAD GNSS would be released for all markets. JAVAD GNSS also kept indefinite rights to the technology to support its existing customers of the old products.

I want to reassure all of our customers that we are committed to bringing you the latest technology as well as supporting our old products. As we transition to our new generation of products, we have built enough of the old products to support our existing customers for many years to come, knowing well that we may have to scrap most of this inventory. We will even institute exchange programs to make sure our customers always benefit from our best available technology.

I also want to emphasize that only JAVAD GNSS has the responsibility, authority and qualification to support our old products. Even though we had earlier shared technology with Topcon, this ended in May 2007. No other company is authorized or qualified to support our old products. Furthermore, most of the firmware and digital hardware engineers who designed the old products have been with JAVAD GNSS since August 2005.

JAVAD GNSS has been developing its own new generation of products since 2005 with the scheduled release date of January 1, 2008. The time has arrived and, as I wrote in my previous letter, on the last tick of the clock on December 31, 2007 (PST) we stopped selling the old products. In February 2008 we will be introducing our new generation of GNSS technology for all applications, including complete sets of hardware and software for all precision applications such as surveying, geodesy, construction, machine control, mining, precision navigation, aviation and timing. These new products will by far outperform all existing GNSS technologies in the marketplace today. The sales and Online Orders of these new products will begin in March 2008.

Transitioning to new products is inevitable, especially when the contrast between the old and new ones is as dramatic as what we will be offering. We have been doing this for the past 25 years. The names may have changed but our people, enthusiasm, and commitment remain the same.
