The Good Letter #7

Deris Bardales

Great news, I was able to figure out how to connect to the FDOT FPRN network by cross referencing the "How to connect with 3G.pdf" and the video you emailed me last night. I do not think I would have been able to figure it out quickly without watching your video. That was great, your video had just the right amount of information I needed to make it work.

Q One question, when I configure the Base and Rover, will placing the Base in a nice clear area with good GNSS coverage help me collect/stake points with the Triumph-LS close to buildings, trees, etc, when I have a straight line of sight?
A Doug Carter: That's wonderful to here!!! Yes keeping the base in clear sky's reduces multi path along with short base line distances will help you with rover fixes. your being a first time user of GNSS you won't believe how this is going to change your working life. Besides making you competitive.
