We delayed the software update from May 20 to May 22. Because of this delay, you can keep your units one week longer.

We shipped to the first group of the 205 PLS program on May 14, 2014.

We recommend that you follow the steps below to make the review process more effective and communication with us more efficient.

1. Read 4 documents below and check for their updates regularly
2. Get familiar with TRIUMPH-LS and read all its “Help” screens.
3. Field work. Use the latest software to be released on May 20, 2014.
4. Office work (use Justin Link to import)
5. Write comments to us via screens@javad.com. This is the main objective of our program; to improve TRIUMPH-LS with your help. Please do not write comments before finishing steps 1 and 2 (and possibly 3).
6. Check for TRIUMPH-LS updates regularly and update directly via Internet. (Home/Support/Software update)
7. More Field and Office work
8. Be in touch with more comments and evaluate progress.

Please send your suggestions when you feel that have studied the unit thoroughly. We are ready to implement your suggestions quickly.

To 209 U.S. Professional Land Surveyors who registered for the two-week free trial of the TRIUMPH-LS, we extend our thanks for your interest in this exciting new product and program. A key component of this program is your hands-on review and feedback. We have closed the registration effective February 3, 2014. Please check the list. If your name is not included, we may have somehow missed your registration or if your name is included, but you no longer wish to participate, please contact us as soon as possible. We are going to support all of you, 50 at a time, and will notify each of you of the estimated shipment date of your products.

Some of you have asked that a base station be included in the package so that you don’t have to rely on RTN networks. This request coincided with the planned introduction of our new TRIUMPH-2, an affordable, scalable, best-in-class GNSS performance RTK base and/or rover. So we have decided to include that as the base station along with a UHF radio allowing you the opportunity to not only work with the TRIUMPH-LS but also with the new TRIUMPH-2, two revolutionary products! The inclusion of our new TRIUMPH-2 may delay shipments by a few weeks but we believe this will be well worth the wait. We will send you complete base and rover. You will only need to supply a tripod for the base station. This is because tripod is heavy to transport and all of you have at least one!
