Just to let you know the other day I took the LS out with me to work, but I ended up only using the robotic total station. However, I either accidently left the LS on or it inadvertently turned on while inside the bag. It stayed in the truck all day while I was in Sonoma and by the time I got to the office, when I pulled it out, it was as hot as a hot potato out of the oven. I could barely touch it. I thought for sure it would have been damaged. I immediately turned it off and stuck it in the refrigerator at the office and let it sit in there for an hour. I pulled it out, it started right back up, and all seems fine. Doesn’t seem like anything happened to it. Seems like the hardware and construction handled it just fine.
