Issues we are having trying to use the test GPS unit.

We cannot find a way to change the point description, point number, and antenna height from the data collection screen.
A
You can do this in the prepare screen now. In the next version we make the 8 white boxes on the collection screen to be active for data entry also. You can assign functions that you mentioned (among other things) to them and access them from the white boxes.

We cannot find how to collect an offset location.
A
This is very easy. For every point you have the option of collecting “By Survey” or “By offset”. When you select “By Offset”, it will guide you through graphic screens to “enter”, “select”, or “survey" the offset point and enter other data. For now the final point is recorded as a "stake". In the next version we will mark it as "point". Test it in the version that comes this weekend (May 31)

The collection software allows you to use the same point number more than once without any kind of prompt.

On the point menu we can only list points in lat/long. We need the ability to list their state plane coordinates.
A
The coordinates of the points are shown according to the coordinate system that have you have selected for the “Page” that the points are in. Select the coordinate system of the Page, or move the point to another page with the coordinate system that you want. The feature of having 10 pages within a project, that can have different coordinate systems is a powerful tool.

We have calibrated the screen many times but we are having a lot of trouble with it not selecting anything or not selecting what was chosen.

We are changing to a new screen with much higher sunlight visibility and captive touch pad.

We cannot get the unit to connect over 3G. We have tried many times following all the directs given online. On the LS screen is says 3G Network: Not Registered, 3G Link: switches between Connecting and Not Active.
